RE: Connecting several trees to the same database.
Hi,

You should be able to use a database file with more than one tree if you wish. I've just tried a simple example here and it seems to work.

Linking to a database can be a bit tricky. First you need to load the correct database into the OpenPED window and the tree into the OpanFTA window. The trick to connecting the two is to click on the File->Database menu item in the OpenFTA window. This should cause the "Database" information at the top left of the tree and in the title bar of the window to change to the correct database. Make sure that the tree is saved afterwards.

If this isn't working for you then we can look into it a bit further.

It would be great if two or more trees could be coupeled to one (1) database. I have tried this and it does not seem to work. I tried to cut a branch of a tree and paste it as a new tree and then couple it to the database of the previous tree. Somehow this does not work.
